From skills to schooling, we help children and youth who were left behind — restart with hope, not shame.
Ashray is not a project. It’s the space between what was lost and what can still be found. Where a girl holds scissors, not silence. Where a boy picks up tools — and dignity. Where even a forgotten dream gets a final attempt.
Ashray is where silence finds purpose. Where dropout doesn’t mean give-up. Where a mother’s name grows into a tree. Where a missed exam doesn’t end the story. Where second chances quietly begin.
In 2010, Ashray Samiti took its first quiet steps in a forgotten corner — where most children dropped out by 5th or 6th standard. No posters. No promotions. Just a belief: they deserved better.
We taught girls to become certified beauticians. Helped boys learn plumbing and welding. For a while, that small spark lit many homes.
"I had always dreamed of having a furry friend to share my life with, and that dream came true when I adopted Max from PawsNest. Max, a gentle and loving Labrador mix, stole my heart the moment I saw him. His wagging tail and hopeful eyes told a story of resilience and unwavering trust. Since that day, Max has been my faithful companion, bringing boundless joy and love into my life."
"Two years ago, I adopted Luna, a shy and timid rescue cat, from PawsNest. Luna had experienced a difficult past, but her sweet disposition captured my heart. Over time, Luna has blossomed into a confident and affectionate companion. Her purrs and playful antics fill my home with warmth and laughter. Adopting Luna has taught me the profound impact of second chances."
"When I first met Bella, she was a trembling ball of fur in the corner of her kennel at PawsNest. It was evident that she had experienced hardship, but her vulnerability touched my soul. Adopting Bella was the best decision I ever made. Watching her transform from a fearful pup into a confident and loving family member has been a remarkable journey. "
Every cause we support began with a single real person — a girl without a certificate, a boy who left school too soon, a mother remembered with a tree.
These aren’t just issues. They are lives we’ve promised not to leave behind.
Skill training and shop support for dropout youth, so that girls can run home parlours, boys can repair mobiles, and their futures can begin.
Nutritious food served daily to children begging at stations and bus stands — replacing hunger with dignity, and begging with relief.
At Ashray Samiti, we work with those the world forgot — school dropouts, under-skilled youth, and women who were never told they matter.
From open-school support to skill-based training at just ₹300, every initiative we run is designed to restore belief — not charity.
Here, a tailoring class becomes therapy. A welding course becomes direction. And a planted tree becomes a quiet tribute to a mother’s strength.
We don’t just create change — we stay with it, until it finds roots
We help school dropouts complete their 10th and 12th — through flexible open-learning models that fit real lives, not perfect ones.
From beautician courses for girls to plumbing and welding for boys — our vocational training gives silent dignity, not just certificates.
Many of our students return to education after years. We quietly provide books, stationery, and support — so they start with dignity, not debt.
For those who work by day, we keep our learning open in the evenings — so no one has to choose between survival and school.
Some come to us after abuse. Others after failure. Some after silence. We don’t ask why they left. We ask how we can help them begin again
We’re building safe, healing spaces where women learn tailoring — and walk home not just with a certificate, but with self-worth and quiet pride.
We help youth complete their 10th and 12th. We offer skill training at a cost they can afford. We create spaces where women feel safe, seen, and skilled.
And through it all, we ask only one thing: What do you need to begin again?
Donating isn’t just a transaction — it’s a decision made with trust, emotion, and hope. The people who support Aashray Samiti don’t do it for recognition. They do it because they saw a truth they couldn’t ignore.
Some sponsored a sewing machine.
Some helped bring a child back from trafficking.
Some simply gave what they could — and received more in return than they expected.
Every kind word here is a reflection of the work we continue on the ground — with heart, consistency, and purpose.
When you support Ashray Samiti, you’re not just giving money — you’re reopening a closed chapter in someone’s life. A girl who left school too soon. A boy who never held a certificate. A mother whose name now blooms through a tree. Every contribution becomes a bridge — from what was lost, to what can still be reclaimed.
Every update here is a glimpse into the lives we touch and the paths we help rebuild, from classrooms to skill centres, from saplings to certificates. This is not just news. It’s progress, one life, one effort, one honest step at a time.
